Exploitation and appropriation in digital content creation
Exploitation of private or intimate materials:
-Nudes or pornographic material (revenge porn)
-Home movies (archival movies that are published online)
-Medical imagery(images taken in examination or medical documents)
-Letters and diaries
-search history
-Digital communications
Real life scenarios :

Exploiting peoples identity:
-virtual influencers (CGI influencers such as Shula may pique the interest of brands looking for a quick fix solutions to diversify their image or positioning themselves in proximity to blackness)(Examples:Imma and Shuda)
-virtual artists (Fake characters based on real people. Used to homage, copy, or borrow styles of music. Example FN meka, who was a virtual rapper that stereotyped black culture to create rap music)
-digital blackface (This encompasses online depictions and practices which echo the anti black underpinnings of people dressing up and performing as lack people. Non black individuals or companies are reusing black culture)
-deepfakes (Deepfake images or porn)

Jarvis video on FN Meka
